Originated from NBC affiliate WBKB
Channel 4, when the station was later acquired by
CBS in early 1953 and changed their name and
channel number later in the year.
KYW
Philadelphia (est.
1932)
Originally known as WPTZ, a Philco
Television station; later became WRCV in the late
'50s. Became a Group W Westinghouse Broadcasting
station in the mid '60s, adopting call letters from
WKYC Cleveland. Became a CBS station in 1995,
following the merger with Westinghouse.
WUSA
Washington D.C.
A Gannett Broadcasting
Station
Originally known as WOIC-TV in the
1949, then later as WTOP-TV, A Post-Newsweek
Station, starting in 1954. Became WDVM-TV in 1978,
and finally WUSA in 1986.
KCBS-TV
Los Angeles (est.
1931)
West Coast Flagship CBS
Station.
Originally known as Don Lee's KTSL
back in the early '50s, then KNXT prior to April
1984.
